A Grove by the Sea — Arquiste
This perfume has been on my purchase list since I first laid my nose on it last fall. It's so wonderful at making you feel like you've escaped to someplace unimaginable — relaxing and meditative, yet luxurious. Think a Mediterranean retreat, olive groves, coastal exploring, and long afternoons in the sun with a perfect breeze.
Notes of fig, black olive, clementine, thyme, rosemary, fleur de sel, pine needle, cypress, fir balsam, and red clay. The opening is aromatic and herby with rosemary and thyme leading the way. Give it a few minutes and that salty-sweet combo emerges, with a fig that reads more fruit than tree or leaf. The dry down brings a warm woody dryness that reminds me of Ojai, California. Projection is solid without being overpowering, and wear time sits around four to five hours. Very eager to add this one to my tray. Sample here.

Rabbit Rabbit — Parfait Parfum
My undisputed favorite fragrance for spring. It's so vibrant and fresh, the embodiment of new life, and by far the crunchiest I'll go for a perfume. With notes of juniper, turmeric, apricot, carrot cake, barley, and galangal, it doesn't lean too sweet. The carrot cake note softens the barley, making it much more wearable. If anything it's a soft, spicy aromatic with bits of fruit woven throughout.
Lovely for most settings, but I find it particularly nice for errand days, grabbing lunch with friends, or a solo date. Projection is fair and wear time is around four hours. I also appreciate that the brand offers a smaller size. I really wish more brands did that. Sample here.

Dulce de Cuerpo — Nopalera
For something a little more cozy and warm, I reach for this, which I recently received a travel size of from the brand. I've always appreciated Nopalera's approach to fragrance. It's very wearable, nostalgic, and does a great job at softly elevating skin scents, like your skin but better.
This particular one has notes of sweet earth, incense, amber, violet, copal, vanilla, and sandalwood. It reminds me of that moment right after the sun sets, when things still aren't fully dark but not overly golden either. There's still quite a bit of life outside, just not as loud as before. It's comforting and warm, like the first patio night of the season after a long winter, when everything feels exciting and new yet right where you left it. It wears close to the skin, making it a nice option for the office or a bedtime spritz, which is typically when I reach for it. Nopalera has given me a code for 10% off for readers, use code HONEYWHIPPEDFETA10.

Le Trou 19 du Phare — Eight & Bob
I have to admit I've been doing a heavy relisten of Florence and the Machine's recent album Everybody Scream. The song "Sympathy Magic" in particular has really resonated with me, and fortunately there's a fragrance that perfectly encapsulates it — and that's Le Trou 19. So witches, this one's for you. And if we're being honest, I do think perfume is a part of magic, or at least it can be. It's very ritualistic, and can pull in symbolism if you so desire it. There's something really beautiful about spritzing while setting an intention, and this fragrance lends itself to that perfectly.
This is a rare fragrance that works for just about any time of year. A bit woody, a little spicy, and just a touch of a floaty green. Notes of black pepper, lemon, leather, vetiver, cedarwood, and cinnamon. It starts as a spicy wood with strong pepper notes, before eventually landing as a complex, balanced wood. There's quite a bit going on, yet it all works beautifully together. Sample here.

Jade Vines — Régime des Fleurs
For something truly elevated, Jade Vines is an excellent option. It feels like a beautiful five star hotel lobby, think Claridge's in London or The Langham. There's this bright white floral energy to it that feels open and airy. When I smell it I picture giant full flowers in a glass vase, surrounded by plush tapestries and windows filled with sunlight.
Notes of yuzu blossom, ginger, tuberose, gardenia, and cedar. Overwhelmingly the gardenia and yuzu blossom come through, and at times there's also a lovely powdery element. Projection is quite powerful with a longevity I really appreciate, I can usually get about seven to eight hours out of it. I have a full bottle of this and it's one of my favorites for early spring. I also love it when I want to feel a bit more classic and chic, like dressing for afternoon tea. Sample here.

Vine Thief — Liberty London
For something more playful and fruity, I reach for this. I received a sample in a discovery kit and have found it to be lovely. In some ways it reminds me of Gwen Stefani's "What You Waiting For" music video, specifically when she's running through the garden and sitting at her tea party. The video draws inspiration from Alice in Wonderland but goes cheeky with the imagery and costuming. This fragrance lives up to that energy, while being very lush and juicy.
Notes of strawberry, orris, liquor, cedarwood, leather, labdanum, musk, vanilla, and condensed milk. It pulls together rather sweetly, but by the dry down it's much more lived in, warm and leathery. Projection is really nice and I did get a few compliments and inquiries from strangers while wearing it, without feeling overwhelming. Wear time for me is around four to five hours. Sample here.

Cowgirl Grass — DS & Durga
This is the fragrance that really pulls out all the stops, and it's not at all what I expected. In fact it's much more romantic. Notes of lychee, bergamot, peony, jasmine, vetiver, amber crystals, and musk. It's naturally very floral forward, with peony coming through most prominently throughout. It stays floral, fresh, and just a bit sweet for most of the wear time before eventually becoming a little more musky. There are moments where the jasmine pops in, and normally I wouldn't be a fan as I have a complicated relationship with jasmine fragrances, but it's very welcomed and enjoyable here.
This is something I really want to wear out dancing. It's just so fun and playful, the kind of fragrance that belongs under the lights, maybe making out with a stranger. The imagery DS & Durga puts out really encapsulates it so well. Sample here.

Pomelo Oolong — d'Annam
While Pomelo Oolong is inspired by tea, it's far from your classic tea fragrance. Instead it's a beautiful and very approachable citrus. Classic and quietly present, it feels tranquil and light. I smelled this last fall on a perfume crawl and had to physically restrain myself from buying a full bottle on first spritz. I've since played with a sample and am once again restraining myself. It's just that good.
Notes of oolong tea, pomelo, osmanthus, porcelain, and white musk. It starts with a strong oolong but at the fifteen minute mark the pomelo comes through rather strongly, shifting things into a more citrus forward direction. My biggest gripe is the wear time, which maxes out at around four hours for me. I adore it but do wish it lasted a little longer. Sample here.

Fig Infusion — Essential Parfums
Rounding it out is something I'm really looking forward to wearing through the spring and summer months. As you've probably guessed from the name, it's fig forward. It's a rather creamy fig, more centered on the fruit than the leaves or tree, though I do find it to still be very woody and earthy. Simple but decadent. A nice embodiment of Taurus season if you ask me.
Notes of fig, sandalwood, black tea, cedar, orange blossom, mandarin, and freesia. Things start strong and jammy with a heavy fig presence that stays throughout the wear. But at that thirty minute mark a black tea and orange blossom combo comes through, making for something both sensual and sophisticated. I do wish the projection was a bit stronger, but it's buildable and at the price point of $130 for 100ml I find it to be more than fair. Sample here.

Sample Set Pick — Discovery Set: Majestic China by d'Annam
I'm quite the fan of discovery sets — they're a great way to explore both a brand and new scents without committing to a full bottle. This particular set from d'Annam is a lovely choice, in part because it includes a pick from my list, Pomelo Oolong, but also for its overall freshness and variety. It includes Mooncake, a sweet honey gourmand; Princess of China, a peony forward floral with notes of lychee; and Spring Festival, a very sweet light floral. For something spicier and warmer there's also Silk Road and Chinese Calligraphy. Overall a really compelling range of options for any mood you might find yourself in.
And with that babes, happy smelling! If you're building out your spring fragrance wardrobe in 2026, I hope this list gives you a great starting point whether you're drawn to fresh citruses, witchy woods, or something lush and floral. I'll be compiling my spring fashion and home scents guides in the coming weeks, because like a true Taurus I love to experience beauty at every level.
